When the stay at home orders started in March 2020, we thought it would only be a few weeks and we would be playing music together again. As we all know, that didn’t happen. What are musicians supposed to do when they can’t get together to play music? During the summer I spent a lot of time practicing scales until I thought I would go mental. It was when I was looking for something to practice scales to that I found Band in a Box and My Robot Army came to be.
What you have now is a collection of original music, covers I have always loved, and songs I dug when I heard them played on one of the many movies and TV shows I have spent all the rest of my time watching (Did I mention that Supernatural is 15 seasons long?). Thanks to the glory of digital recording, I can crank up my Studio One and dump tracks to send by the interwebs to my partner in crime for tone and screaming guitar leads which I them can import right back in like we were standing next to each other.
Hope you can find a little enjoyment out of the only thing that has kept me sane during the craziest time in our collective lives.
Sincerely,
The AI
